My first time getting FREE espresso at the Mcdonalds. A girl walked around with a tray with cups of espresso and asked if we wanted coffee (I'm not sure, she spoke Danish and I.... don't heehee). Why doesn't our Mcdonald have that kind of service?!

...I rather listen to a pro instead of beauty/make-up "guru's" with lots of followers hahaha. For example Dr. Schultz, who explains everything in a understandable non boring way. The videos are really helpful and very informative! So I learned a lot about skincare. I kind of believed that skincare products would stop working because your skin adapts...

but it's a MYTH!

So I'm sticking to my routine because it works. You should adapt skincare according to season, which makes sense haha. Another question I had was why topical exfoliaters did nothing for clogged pores and if it's true you should exfoliate 2 to 3 times a week?! The anwser is no:

Hey who owns 5 Birkin bags?! Happy colours!:D I thought when I saw this picture on a dutch beauty blog.

These are not the real deal though.( surprise) It's a Birkin bag print on a canvas bag for $45! (Yay affordable)

Hehe I prefer these over the 'real' Birkin bag though, because it looks fun and interesting this way. And these bags are more versatile! They are not as heavy as leather and you can put your mini dog, groceries, KFC bucket, books or whatever in it. And not to forget, no never-ending waiting list...for a bag.

...Ok, that's partially a lie.

Because these obviously fake but fun bags do have a waiting list. But not never-ending, 'only' three months....somewhere in Taiwan. Too bad the author from bagsnob.com is keeping the shop a secret. Hey everyone! Just another NOTD! I found a way to use my old thick nail polishes. (Good thing, I have A LOT of polishes) With some practice, you can make a 'dripping' effect with them. So here are some webcam pics (because this way i'll probably update more often XP):

I used a taupe colour as a base + old thick goopy black polish for the droopy effect

I used a piece of paper and this pen thing for dotting...(as always)

Tadaa! I just used the original polish brush to apply the black. How? Ehhh.... how do I explain this...well it's like

doing a messy french manicure I guess.

Hehe these are my nails from a few weeks ago! I used a navy blue as a base + the pen thing with white polish X) Place dots and short strokes for the effect. If you want to try these but don't have the time/patience...just order:

Finally a proper sunny day! ~3~ Although it's still ice cold outside...but sun = sun! And yay, I'm studying at home...but between my studying...I gave my nails some colour X)! I used a make up sponge for the white and pink colour. Using a make up sponge to apply nail polish is so much fun, I like how the texture of the sponge shows up. And you can make a gradient fade with it of course.

Yay! I got my first blog award from The Owl's Closet ~3~! Thank you! It's the Happy 101 award, so I have to blog about ten things that make me happy.

My happy list:

1. Watching korean/taiwanese/japanese drama! Goong, My Girl, Delighful Girl Choon Yang, Full House, Coffee Prince, Hana Kimi, Hana Yori Dango...I heart them all! I'm currently watching 'Down With Love' with Ella and Jerry! Ella's acting is always a bit over the top with her movements and expressions...but hey, it's making me laugh, so it's fine! X)

2. Music! I kind of get obsessed with one or two songs for a while. Currently it is this one:

I can listen to nothing else but this song for hours/days haha! But since this a happy post, I'll post a happy song X)

3. 500 Days of Summer! \\^0^// Or movies in general hehe. I like combinations of action, thriller, horror, animation, Sci-Fi and romance! My latest favourite happy movies at the moment are: Zombie Land and I Love You, Man. (Good laugh guaranteed)

4. Food. Especially when i'm craving something and then... get to eat it !X) You can make me happy with ice cream(!), sea food, dim sum, sushi, pasta, fresh juices or smoothies, 70% pure chocolate, pie, red bean soup, congee, korean noodle, coffee etc.

Oeh...these icecream mochi look so good! *_*

5. I don't do it as often as I like and that is traveling! I would like to travel more in the future and learn another language while I still can hehe. Korean sounds like a fun language to learn...although it's probably not that useful haha XP

6. Shopping and find something nice and cheap! I also like to buy things that other people couldn't find and mentioned it to me X) (as long it is not extremely expensive haha)

7. I get extremely happy when I put a lot of effort in something/anything and...succeed!

8. Doing something creative! Which can be drawing, baking, painting etc. I also like to look at other peoples work.

9. Like most asian girls...cute colourful graphics/things (and that does not include anything hello kitty related hehe)

10. Having something to look forward to. Could be anything...like meeting with friends you have have not seen for a long time.

It's old news for some of you, but it's new news for me....The LV Raindrop Besace bag, that is inspired by....eh..a trashbag? It looks like a trashbag with a leather strap on it. And if you take the strap off...you can carry it around like a trashbag! Haha briljant how Marc Jacobs makes something so basic/avarage/cheap into something arty and exclusive (and very...very.... expensive for a trashbag). He says that there are crazy people who will by it as long it's exclusive.Oh yeah...I totally agree. Who wouldn't want it? It's only $2000.

I must say that the green bag really does look like a trashbag...but the brown one looks quite nice! XP

A few minutes ago, Michelle Phan was teaching me how to wash and dry make up brushes. And when I watched the vid, it reminded me that my brushes are really dirrrty. She suggested dishwasher + olive oil for washing. I wanted to try that, but I ended up thinking dishwasher + baby shampoo + jojoba oil should work fine too? X) For drying your brushes, Michelle suggested using brush guards.Hmm... I don't own brush guards to protect my brushes and dry them upside down. So I just dried them like this:

Haha I must say...I think this might be better then laying them on a towel to dry. And it's easy to do, I only used hair bands, a clothing hanger and laundry clips. Since my brushes are hanging upside down and not falling down, I think this works for me haha X) How do you dry your brushes?

Hello Milk Tea Brown Hair?

I finally received my Liese Bubble Hair Colors! I have Ash brown, Milk Tea Brown and Mocha Orange. So today I tried out MTB. It's explained very clearly with pics, drawings and tips X)

Since the hair dye is like a mousse, it shouldn't drip. And it didn't, which is a relieve cause I'm doing it myself. After mixing solution 1 with 2, the mousse was ready. It's really interesting cause the solution doesn't look foamy in the bottle. It turns into "bubbles" when you squeeze the bottle. So after my hair was covered with foam and I gave it a good massage, I waited 30 minutes....

...washed my hair...

...and was not too impressed. It just made my black hair slightly lighter.

But after blow drying...

..Oh hey! It's pretty obvious brown (with flash)...but not Milk Tea Brown though... XP The colour is quite nice!

Hehe since my hair is lighter now....I'm sure the other colours will show up even better! So next time I'm going to have fun with these ghehe:

What I ordered? Hehe well...sweet bean soup with mochi (yumyum)...but on a ring! Haha I thought it looked fun and interesting.... cause the chopsticks were floating above the bowl holding a piece of mochi...XP The ones with a bowl of hot noodles or a cup of coffee with cream looked nice too.

It came in this box with lot's of sushi (rings) on it! Made me feel like I ordered some kids jewelry XP...and I broke it instantly because the bowl was not attached properly...but nothing a drop of super glue can't fix!

This is definitely the most fun looking ring I have X) ..not very practical though...

Haha I think Flashmobs are awesome! It's really a good way to get people's attention for whatever...it could be for a product/ a person/ a new show etc. People will stand, watch, talk about it and certainly remember it. I mean...how often do you get the chance to see something like that? Yup...probably not very often. The whole show is gone after a few minutes...and I like that...leaves a big impression that way and a big huh?! What was that?! 0_o haha at least I would think that way XP... But it's most likely different when your actually there...or watching it on YouTube...maybe it's not that spectacular as I think it is...

But anyway...my favourite is the tribute to MJ in Stockholm. (many of you probably have seen this one already...it was/is really populair)

Sweet Experiment

Did you have an awesome new year with lot's of yumyum food? X) I sure had! When I was shopping in an Asian supermarket, I saw this:

Lapis Tepung Baras....interesting! I always buy a piece of white/green layer cake when it's available...but I guess this is the original name for it? It's super sweet, chewy, sticky and taste like rice and coconut? Since I hoped this was the mix for it, I bought it. And today I tried it out. So I followed the instructions........

The box contains: Vanilla mix + Pandan mix

450ml coconut milk+650 water -> Boil till ur left with 800ml =_=

450ml coconut milk with pandan mix. (Ew not tasty looking...yet)

350ml coconut milk + vanilla mix

Filter Pandan and Vanilla batter!

YUM.

The steaming wok is ready!XP So now comes the timing consuming part. You have to pour 100ml batter every 5-7 minutes....but what you get in return is this:

Ew. That's not smooth nice white and pretty green like the ones in the Asn supermarket! T_T BOO.

Maybe cutting it in pieces makes a difference?!

Hm.NO. Ok..ok...I should have let it cool down first, so the knife could slide through easily. But I was impatient! XP
The taste? Hmm..~~mwoah~~ correction:... not something u would like to eat haha, even if you have a sweet tooth...It's super super sweet ~_~ And the texture isn't that good hehe. But hey! At least I can see the (uneven) layers XP!
I'm not going to try this...but if you don't use the Pondan brand and make everything from scratch...it can look like this!

Woohoo HK Goodies!

A friend of mine went to study in HK for nine months and he came back a couple of days ago! And I asked for a couple of things I wanted to try. So I friendly asked for these:

Since my Dr.Young bbcream clogged my pores, I still wanted to give bbcream one more chance. So MISSHA had something to prove now haha XP. I tried it on....and looked white-ish (--)...which is still better then grey-ish(Dr.Young)....I guess. But after a couple of minutes, it looks more like my skintone. It didn't clog my pores (+) and it evens out the skintone (++) . I don't know yet if I need to use finishing powder after this....we will see how it looks like when I wear this all day!

The BRTC Pore Tightening Serum is so far so good. Not shrinking the pores though haha (aw... no miracle worker).... but the hydration is good and I like the cooling effect. I could use the extra hydration in the winter!:) Not only my face needs extra attention...my hair too..=_+

O I always wondered how asian male celebs do their hair! The layers show up nicely and it seems weather proof haha XP Ok ok probably it's a good hair stylist with a blowdryer, flat iron, wax and hairspray something like that....but I can't get those things to work for me! (not that i'm trying to have the short asian guy hair style XP) I tried so many hair product and brands...wax, gel, fiber, glue....haha but hey -> not GATSBY! (wow the wax smells like apple *0*) So i'm hoping it's going to hold my layers up....like Goku! XP

Well I sure don't. I only now the basics...like switching off the flash light or make sharp close up pictures. The camera is from HK...and the language is set in chinese...so that's not really helping me understand the other fancy functions. But after some pressing and shooting around...I discovered some useful and fun functions!:)
So I made some "horror" pics (using my desktop lamp:))....not very flattering but it was fun. It made me look like a demon haha XP So after some editing in PSP...it turned out quite colourful haha:)

O another function that I liked...was ISO? This function is really flatering for face (self) pics haha.

See how it gives kind of a grainy/blurry effect?:) O and that's my favourite bird doodle ghehe...

I forgot what this function was... but it thought the pic looked very dynamic and reminded me of clubbing...probably because of the light effects...

I believe this function was for sports pics..or moving things...hm well I didn't move so it made me look like I was moving?! ..Ehh I don't know so maybe it's not the sport function...8) (very good memory)

Another painting/drawing thing

I like to paint but I don't seem to do it that often. I think it's because...hmm... I lack inspiration lately and I make a huge mess of the table when I start working on something.
When it comes to painting I don't like sketching things out on paper first. I just start drawing on the canvas, it's such a hassle sketching things first (which isn't that smart cause I mess up a lot hehe) So most of the time, the painting doesn't turn out the way I like it to be...which can be a good thing or a bad thing. Good thing: It's more creative. Bad thing: I don't like it and hide it somewhere in a plastic bag. I'm really a perfectionist when it comes to painting/drawing so most of the time I think it's ok...but never I never think: WOW! AWESOME!. But then againg...I just do it for fun so i'm not bothered for long with the end result :)

So look what I found (hidden somewhere):

It's a monster growing hand in nature? I tried to copy it from a magazine picture because it looked fun to recreate. It's originally a poster designed by Jason Devine. I checked out his site and I really like his work! Lot's of colour and monsters haha:) O let me show you his original 'Nature in Our Hands':

Hahaha so sinds a day or two i'm playing the game: Plants vs Zombies....and it's so much fun! \\^0^//
Haha ok ok... It's sounds really lame but it really isn't! The game is pretty simple. Stop the zombies before they get in your house and eat your brain. How? Well by planting different kinds of plants with different qualities. So it looks like this:

Ok even if you don't like gaming and think it's a waste of time...it looks cool right? Besides that the graphics are awesome it contains a lot of humor! (MJ is in there doing this thing....) I'm not much of a hardcore gamer but I do like these kind of games (especially when it's cold and dark outside =_=) And this one is really addicting 8)

O.. one last thing...the notes that the zombie leave you in the game are hilarious....It would be fun to print them on a T-shirt or something. Hmm maybe I'm going to do that for fun! :) Ok I will stop boring you all with my nerd post now 8)!

#1 S&R: Hooray I received my first matte polish today from Ebay! \\^0^// It's not popular here yet...so I can't get matte polishes in the stores. It's like a magic polish, it goes on wet but dries really fast into a matte finish...very interesting haha. Gorgeous colour don't you think?:)

#2 S&R: I went shopping today and was holding back on buying things...so I only bought these golden rose earrings. And I did pretty darn well (even if I say so myself :p) haha i'm really into rose earrings at the moment, so me = happy ghehe x)

#3 S&R: Oops, I lied. I bought some fabric too for sewing class. Making clothing is so time-consuming...even buying fabric took me forever. (really picky + indecisive + being a cheapskate atm) The market had a lot of nice fabrics though...and nice people working there, who are always in for a random chat. (Mister-with-really-expensive-but-really-nice-fabrics, If you ever say "hookie tookie tak" again when i'm talking chinese..I will consider burning down your nice fabric collection... or something)

#4 S&R: Yay my favourite hairdresser is having a discount! Nice...stimulation to make the long planned needed appointment...

Fight for Jimmy Shoes...

Today is the day the fashion addicts waited early in the morning to prepare for battle. Why? Because today is the day (O it's very late..correction:..was the day..) that Jimmy Choo's collection hits the H&M! Bags, clothing, jewelry and of course...high stilettos for a friendly price.

And of course...I wasn't one of them...ghehe. So this is how it went ->
I was at the train station and was about to take the train home. But then I saw all these nice blue shiny bags with JIMMY CHOO on it everywhere! Hmm my niece mentioned she wanted a pair JC shoes but I didn't know that is was available today! So since I was near the designer goods, I decided to take a look. (and maybe laugh at how the woman were fighting for their Jimmy...ghehe) But to my surprise it wasn't that chaotic and catfighty...well hm...maybe a little bit haha. The collection was kind of a punk/rock inspired -> zebra print, leather, black/grey and studs. So I did like most of the collection:)

But my main goal-> a pair of stiletto's. The shoe area wasn't as crowded (lucky), although you've have to grab fast or it vanishes quickly before your eyes haha. But without breaking into a sweat a got myself a nice pair of black stilleto's for €80 ..hm that's about $120! I was very that lucky that my size was still there :) Tadaa my brand new shoes:

The heel is really high...so I have to practice a bit first haha. Since i'm more of a sneaker and flat boots person...but I have to say, for stilettos they are quite comfortable:) So that's the main reason why I bought them. ...Oo now that I think of it...besides not being a pro high heel walker... i'm rather clumsy ...I even trip in with boots or sneakers on....ha..ha.....that's going to be a problem...

Black dotted glitter nails?

Me playing around with my nails again.... How did I do it? Well of course first a clear base. Then apply a black polish. Then I dotted some gold and silver in two lines. After that I made a mistake so the nailsticker is covering that up..ghehe. And finish with any glitter topcoat! Tadaa all done \\^0^//

O I forgot! After applying the topcoat I sprinkled some loose glitter on top and pressed it in with my finger when it was al most dry:)

Wonder what it is? Well it's a delicious meatloaf with cheese! The nails or made from onions. Haha how cool is that?! I wish I had the fantasy and of course, the cooking skills to come up with this:) But the artist of this piece posted the recipe! But you do need to buy the gelatin mall first. Haha maybe I will make this for my friends.....love to see their reactions haha.

New hair trend: ombre color

Bored of your hair colour? I know I am. The new trend seems to be a nice soft fade of colour! I would try it if I could find a really good hairsalon to do it haha. I don't think any hair stylist can do this the *right* way. I don't like the colour fades in the pictures i'm showing...for example the grey/lilac isn't really flattering...makes her look old and ...dusty? The blond/bleu/black fade isn't as subtle for my liking...I still have to find a colour fade that I like hehe. (me = picky)

The more I look at it...hmm the more it seems the girls are growing out their hair colour...just major roots showing! Haha so maybe if you want to achieve this look just leave your roots growing...and growing.....Well saves a lot of money on hair dye:))

If you are bored and you are lucky enough to live near the beach...u should try what Sadarsan Pattnaik from India is doing...making sand sculptures!^_^ Making sand sculptures isn't recognised as art in India(!) Pfff... well if this isn't art then I don't now what is. Look at that! It's much more complicated to make then most of the modern art pieces. I mean if an urinoir with some paint on it is art...
I think it's nice that he takes international matters as a theme. It really draws attention in a different interesting way. And you don't even have to go to a museum to see it:)

Yesterday I went to the museum for a paper about art!:) This time there was an expostion named: "The Art of Fashion" so me and my friend checked it out. And wow I really enjoyed this collection made by different artist/designers! Each had a different style and story behind them. I noticed that I like artist who incorperate humor in their creations. Sometimes you really need to now the intention of the artist before you can appreciate his/her art. Normally I can get really bored in a museum...but now I think I know why. I'm just not really impressed by (15th till-18th) century) oil paintings and sculptures. I can't look at them for long...I don't know it just not my thing.... maybe I see little difference between them? Although they are perfectly made.... But anyway I'll show you the things I did like!:) (The picutres are not that good because I forgot my camera so I used an old one...-__-)

"Full moon" and me (Camera had trouble focusing without flash...) I forgot the name of the artist...but he made pictures with nude chubby women in them....not to forget in weird embarresing postions..hmm

How does the artist want to be found 300 years after his death? Well in this grave! (Haha I masked the private parts hahaha don't want to shock younger readers:P) My friend asked me to read the info first before I looked at this art piece. It really made me laugh when I knew the story behind it. It's kind of childish and over the top haha. Hey at least people would smile when they visit you after passing away? Better then those sober coulours all the time!

Haha such a funny expresion! It wasn't intentional to make this expression...the fabric just turned out this way.

This was awesome. I looked at it for a long time...freaky looking huh? It's like a blurred glass box with a doll in it. The box is filled with water and camera's are installed at different angles. The doll had a wig and a dress on. Because there is a blow drying machine the hair moves...and because of the water, the dress moves very elegant. These movements are shown on the screens behind. Very eerie atmosphere...but very interesting:)

Today I came up with this design voor my nails! Hope you like it!:) Nail stickers are so much fun and easy to use!

Products I used:

I think it's obvious how I did my nails.... But for those who wanna now...i'm going to explain in short:) First put on a clear base. Dry? -> 1 layer or more layers of red. Dry?-> Put a nailsticker on each vinger-> Put some gold polish(or whatever colour u prefer) on a piece of paper and use the rhinestone pen for dotting! Dry? Add a clear coat and enjoy the result haha ~3~

Pink Ribbon: October Breast Cancer Awareness

Wuzzyangel is spreading the word about breast cancer so i'm joining her! She and some of her relatives are surivors from the disease and I think people should know some facts and figures about it. To be honest I don't know much about breast cancer but I do know how to check myself. As i'm young(21) I'm not checking that often. But is it true that you can't get breast cancer when you are younger? Don't know so i'm going to find out now and share the information of course:)

Facts:
- Men don't have boobies but they can have breast cancer (but mostly women)
- Starting from the age 30 breast cancer is the most frequent among other cancers.
-Woman who work out have 20% till 40% less risk of getting it! (note to myself: another reason to work out)
-If all woman worked out frequently it reduces 1000-1500 patients every year!
-5% of the new patients getting breast cancer has inherit it
-95% get the disease from other factors like: lack of excercise, too much alcohol, early period and late menopause, not giving birth or giving birth at on older age and obesity.

(Seems like asians have a lower risk of getting it? Hmm maybe because of different eating habits?)

I found a nice website that explains how to check yourself with pictures!:)

How do I check for lumps?

Start by standing in front of a mirror. Look at your breasts with your arms at your side, with your arms raised behind your head, and with your arms on your hips and your chest muscles flexed.

Next, lie down with a pillow under your left shoulder. Put your left hand behind your head and feel your left breast with the pads of the 3 middle fingers on your right hand. Start at the outer edge and work around your breast in small circles, getting closer to your nipple with each circle. After you've finished checking your breast, squeeze your nipple gently and look for discharge (fluid coming out of the nipple).

Do the same thing to your right breast with a pillow under your right shoulder.

Be sure to include the area up to your collarbone and out to your armpit. You have lymph nodes in this area. Cancer can spread to lymph node tissue.

Hot n cold facial

The weather is changing and my skin knows it. It's drying out a bit...I have a lot of mask lying around so today I gave myself a nice facial:) After normal cleansing I used the PDC L'epoze hot esthe gel. This is a self warming gel and it should remove impurities and blackheads. You need to massage the gel until the black beads are gone. I like the short massage (5-10 minutes) with the warming effect! Feels nice:) But it doesn't remove blackheads...but I think my skin feels cleaner?

After this I used the PDC L'epoze esthe gommage nose peeling mask. I didn't really like it before because it was hard to remove and I didn't see any difference. But I gave it another shot with a much thicker layer. You just spread the white gel on your nose. When it's dry you can rub the gel off with your vinger!:) I didn't expect much....but this time it really did clear up the nose pores! Ok not squeaky clean but a lot lesser:)

After rubbing and washing the mask off I applied the Silk Whitia moisturizing mask!(click on the pic for info about this mask) I leaved it on for 15 min and rinsed my face with water. The mask is really moisturizing and feels a bit cold (but nice) on the face. The down side of this mask is that it drips...So maybe next time I should lie down:P Haha me with the mask on! (No talking or eating with this thing on....it didn't stay in place above my lips....)

The result is not -> WOW!! Haha but it should've gave me a radiant and energetic appearance...hmm nope not really...(Ok I also lack sleep...can't blame the mask not making me look "radiant" haha) The weird thing is...I look paler/whiter?! Odd cause it's not a whitening mask...or is this the energetic effect? Oh well I do have super soft skin now (for today)! ~3~

Well this isn't really beauty related (hm it's kind of fashion/trend related though:p ) but I thought it is funny enough to blog about :P I was searching for fashion sites and came across this article: "Japanese Geeks and the Things They Love" (Japantrends.com) Sounds interesting and it kind of was haha. Apparently there is this discussion about otaku's (hmmm wikipedia says: is a Japanese term used to refer to people with obsessive interests, particularly anime, manga, and video games) who love their anime printed pillow(?!) ..in a literal way. 0_o

Not really interested in this whole discussion about it but the pictures are hilarious! It shows Japanese men "dating" their love doll and dragging it with them on the metro/train. FREAKY. But who knows....they might not be dating them and just purchased them that day and bought them for the kids?(uhuh sure) So for the pic's (haha I couldn't help but to add some thoughts they could be having:P):

Yay it's my housemates birthday!:) So we baked her apple pie! Well it's not exactly pie...it's more apple cake that looks like a pie? Hmm whatever it's called ....it smelled sooo good when it was in the oven. The whole house smelled like apple and cinnamon ~3~ It reminds me of Xmas haha. It's actually the first time we baked a pie for getting a year older in this house. But we will definatly do this again:)

Clinique never works...for me

I've got a free sample of the Clinique high impact CURLING mascara. I can't find it right now but I'll say one thing about it: don't buy it. Curling? Not even a lift. My curled lashes crashed straight down the moment I put this on...So I washed it off with warm water(!)Super convenient that is comes off with warm water! I wish more make up just goes off like that hehe! Saves me a lot of time and cotton balls. Hm aw too bad...in the poubelle ( I really like the french word for trashcan ghaha) it goes.

It seems like I never have any luck with Clinque...It's the same story for the their lash power mascara =_= And their 3step skin regime was also not working for me. That toner for combo skin(step 2) really burned and dried out my skin. I didn't like the dramatically different moisterizer (step 3) either. It wasn't moisterizing enough for my skin (probably because the toner did a great job drying it out). The cleanser (stap 1) was avarage. Did the job, nothing special. Hmm I also tried their pore minimizing T zone shine control. So finally something that worked? NO. I applied it on my forehead and I didn't notice any reduce in shine (oil control) nor pore minimizing effects. Blah no Clinque stuff for me anymore....unless it's a freebie:)

Dotting away

I couldn't sleep last night for some reason. And by the time I got tired my nails looked like this:

As for my other hand....

...other colours and patterns! I like the pattern(s) and the combination of gold/silver/black the most! I used 8 different polishes in total hehe. Oh for the dot's I used some sort of a pen thing that is used for applying gem stones...It is perfect for applying dots:) I think this can look even better with a coloured base coat but that's up to you. So much for this experiment... Have fun dotting!

I did this very quick and I failed in making nice stripes... Well it's not completly bcse of my nail art skills but the black nail art polish is BLAH -> very sheer + runny + hard too handle! It's from Essence -> A very cheap dutch brand with most of the time bad quality products...but it's the only drugstore brand that sells nail art polishes -_-.So it turned out more like fantasy nails? haha:) I used KOH Glamourous Purple polish as a base. It's a chameleon nail polish that is pink/purple/green/grey (depending on the light). It looks different everytime I look at it...very interesting!:) It applies smooth but it's also very sheer...so I need 2 or 3 coates for a nice colour. Normally I keep my nails long...because of my guitar lessons I can't anymore..oh well short isn't that bad and it is hygienic haha:)

Ps. Oh i'm not doing more weird stripes nails for a long time cause the blah polish is in the poubelle right now:)

I like this kind of braid! Much nicer then the normal one. For those of you who have long straight hair ~~must~~ should try too braid their hair like this! I think it looks really nice... but I have too many many layers in my hair...so haven't tried it.Well i'm not good at doing my hair anyway...no hair skills what so ever..unlike binosusume!*_* I wish I found her channel sooner -> when my hair was still one length. She makes the greatest hair styles with long hair. Check out the funky faux mohawk <3 tutorial on YouTube...

I never got an eyelash perm done in a beauty salon. But now you can do it yourself with the Be Creation Eyelash Perm Set! Sounds pretty good huh? Haha but then I saw the instructions....it looks uncomfortable(funny) with those clip-on-windows on the eyes!8) Haha you should get barbie alluring 3D lashes though haha...sure. You would probably get better result with the good ol' lash curler and a good mascara. Because only the tips are curled in the picture haha...funny Mmm maybe when you curl it again after the perm you get an amazing result? Who wants to try? haha:)

I was looking for a good hydrating eye cream that wasn't too expensive...and I found this one! I think it is about $15? It has a lot of good stuff in it without the chemicals...(not that I really care..because all the other stuff I use most of the time -> not natural.) ..oh wait..99,6% natural..so it does have 00,4% chemicals =P But anyway it is a moisterizing-smelling-good-gel that absorbs quickly!( I tried using the carrot shampoo from Yes To Carots but I thought it smelled awful...like..baby powder but worse. But this smells and feels fresh!) It has camomile too tighten and soothe the eye area...and it does what it says! It hydrates really well and gives a breezy feeling! It should also reduce puffiness and dark circels...hmmm ooo? Not really seeing that..but who cares it feels nice under the eyes!

If you are looking for a hydrating light fresh eye gel that is inexpensive and only contains 00,4% chemicals....you obviously should go and buy this! I heard some good things about the Yes To Tomatoes mud mask..so i'm going to try that out when i'm less poor:)

...and finally I do too! Well beauty tubers and bloggers probably are raving over something else by now haha. I got mine from an Ebay seller that lives in HK for $10? if it's not less...(so much cheaper then Coastel Scents!) It was tightly wrapped but it arrived broken though...-_- But actually I don't mind but it was just a bother too clean it all up haha (lazy)...I'm not very good with eyeshadow so the very the first time I used it, I looked like someone punched me in the eye hehe..(No really I did)

Pros -> the pigmentation, the matte/satin finish, the price, the variety of colours.

Cons > really fragile, loose pressed, shadows popping out.

No I can't really (...not yet...or rather not yet good)...I thought it would be easy! I was thinking about making baked salmon with ketjap manis. How hard can that be? I mean the ketjap is already done... My mom said : Oh easy... just bake this.. then put this and that in....give it a good stir.taste.voila! ^3^

I thought it looked pretty good and delicious for a first time ! ...O but then I thought I should ad chillipepers...cause I like spicey things! In it goes...stir...taste..mm...waaaah...water! Too much big chunks of chillipepper...haha I ate it anyway with lot's of rice :P I think I need too find some good recipes and stick with them! Or listen better to my moms instructions...

Ed Hardy oil painting

I finally finished this oil painting! It took me a couple of weeks because I paint slow... It's my first time using oil paint but I really like how vibrant the colours turned out. I'm really bad at blending colours and making shadows. Need to google and work on that! O and I also keep staining the white canvas with my hands...=_= Anyone has a tip for that? I just used white to try to cover up the "dirty" parts but it's still noticeable...

I used two pictures from Ed Hardy to make this painting so it's not completly my design:) Because Ed Hardy incorperated the brand in it's design... I switched it with my own name moewhaha...Well I didn't have any inspiration for an other name or word so might as well use my one then =P

Tattoo art (especially japanese) always has nice colours and tight lines which I like in paintings...but some how I do not like tattoo designs on clothing, accessories, jewerly or... on me haha. I mean I would never wear something like this ->
Don't think it is really flattering ...but thats just me haha!

Yes i'm not lying. What is the nr.1 problem for asian lashes? For me it is that most of the time mascara doesn't hold the curl... Who cares about volume or longer lashes when the curl doesn't hold? But I have the ultimate mascare that gives volume, holds the curl perfect and thickens without clumping. It holds all day and is waterproof! The downside is that it's hard to take off. So you're going to need a really good waterproof eye remover.

So it is the japanese FASIO hyperstay mascara shock free - curl volume! I got mine as a gift from my niece who went to HK :) She said it was great and it is!

I know you can get the colour brown from sasa.com. They don't sell the black one though. Oh also check out fuzkittie's webshops list because she knows a lot of online shops that sell japanese make up. Go get it! :)

Faded purple glitter nails

So I created these purple nails! I never did a fading colour before and it took me some time to figure it out. I just used a clear base coat, GOSH Gasoline and a glitter top coat. The trick is to stroke a base coat inwards when the purple is still a bit wet...and you have to layer the nail polish darker towards the tip. (I used a sheer polish)But there must be an easier way...I just don't know it yet and i'm gonna find out now!:)
